Ollie Miles

Managing Director

Ollie has over 25 years experience as a draughtsman for Structural Steel, Designing and Modelling TEKLA 3D drawings. He is an experienced site surveyor and setting out engineer, skills often used as part of our quality control process.  Ollie is our BIM expert and SHEQ Lead.

In his own time Ollie enjoys fine dining and endures DIY.

Alan Young

Director

With over 40 years in the Construction Industry, Alan specialises in Structural Steelwork, having an in-depth knowledge and experience to deliver the client’s requirement on budget and on programme.

Away from the office Alan is a keen tennis and squash player, he also finds time to garden. Alan is involved in the promotion of Junior Rugby.

Gary Moseley

Senior Draughtsman

Gary has over 30 years experience as a Structural Steelwork Designer and Modeller and is a master in TEKLA 3D. Gary is also experienced in the use of an EDM to carry out site surveys and setting out.

Gary enjoys holidays and is a demon snooker player!

Peter Boyce-Stevens

Draughtsman

With 40 years in the industry, Peter’s experience includes Draughting, Estimating and Production Management.

In his spare time Peter enjoys sci-fi and pizza and has recently taken on a rescue dog.

Tracey Shorthouse

Office Manager

Tracey retired from the Police Service in 2016, before joining HSL a year later. She brings organisation, reliability and humour to the workplace.

Tracey enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
